ismail
Interfaces your agent runs and rebuilds for you: a DAW, a VR stage and a phone page.
What it is
The agent you already use does the work in the background. You bring the taste. ismail is open source (MIT), runs on your machine, and connects to the agent you already use on one side and to you on the other.
- The DAW. Your agent writes music as notes, sounds and code, renders it, and reads every render back as text: levels per bar, drum patterns, chords, a piano roll, and comparisons against a reference, scored against that reference's own variation. A song is code, so "change bar 12" changes bar 12 and nothing else.
- The VR stage. A scene in your headset or browser that agents build while you stand in it. Objects carry their own behaviour, and when you dance, they put your moves on a character.
- The phone page. The set in your pocket, with the screen off. Talk back through your earbuds, and the agent puts its own panels on the page for whatever it needs to ask you.
Measured
| 0 codecs | in the chain: renders are lossless 24-bit WAV, and no generative audio model makes the sound |
| 1.000 | correlation between a song's whole mix played live on a deck and its studio render, every band within 0.2 dB |
Try it

Credit where credit is due: when you publish something made with ismail, say so, and credit the recordings it measured.
